Whenever I start 0ad my laptop just reboots. I did post earlier and got frustrated. Sorry about that. Here is more info. Please help and let me know what else you guys need. Ps. When I run the game from command line the same happens.

Ok. Thanks all. I solved the problem by just switching to the LTS kernel. Stupid me thought it would be best to have the latest kernel. Game works now.

You are so funny

Well, yes. But there is no point in getting angry at the OP. He has already demonstrated bad manners and pissed all over our forum, so this little transgression is negligible in light of his previous sins.

Frankly, I’m more angry (or, more accurately, disappointed rather than angry) at other members who continue to engage with the OP.

Like I said, sorry for my earlier bad manners while everyone was just trying to help. Thanks a million to everyone that tried.

That’s interesting, so does glxinfo work now?

glxinfo is a standalone binary provided by mesa-demos. It’s not required by mesa.

Thanks mate. Consider me edumicated.

You got me on that. Had to look it up! So we are even.

And actually, I SHOULD NOT do that; it’s rather cruel for an international audience where English is a second language.
So folks, to explain:
edumacate (third-person singular simple present edumacates, present participle edumacating, simple past and past participle edumacated)

  1. (humorous) Deliberate misspelling of educate.

I have a terrible habit of butchering my own language for the sake of brevity (humour).

As a non-native speaker, I find humour one of the best tools in learning

Also, if $reader can’t figure out how to use a search engine, well… :man_shrugging:
