I am a pastor serving in MI, but I am the nice, loving, and supportive of everyone kind of pastor who likes to help people and does not have a private jet or millions of dollars. I am not the crabby, “everyone’s going to hell”, God hates . I am also not the kind of pastor who is going to try to convert anyone. I think we all need to find what works for each of us in this life. For some that is religion, for some it is science, for some it is a combination of those two (me), for some it is magic(?). But I respect everyone choosing what (if anything) works best for them and offer no judgment or attempt any persuasion towards any other way.
Before becoming a pastor I worked in IT in higher education and not-for-profits for almost a decade. I started as a Web Developer & Network Administrator, later added Systems Administrator, then worked up to Director of IT, and ended as the Executive Director of IT for the liberal arts college at a state school in an urban setting in the Midwest (but not Michigan). I have always loved Linux for lots of reasons and want to keep learning more.
