My main University course in 1989 was Engineer in Information Technology. During my first years of work I came in touch with Unix, but also Mainframe OS (such as VMS, MVS, …). In 1997 I discovered Linux through Mandrake, that time a marvelous distribution. I did run on PC quiet some time Linux only as dual-boot with Windows. Since 2014 I do have Linux as my main OS. I did distrohop quiet a lot from Debian based systems, towards RedHat based systems, OpenSuse, Arch and Arch-based systems to end now with EndeavourOS. As DE’s I did try quiet some, such as Gnome, XFCE, Mate, Cinnamon, Budgie but my preferred DE is KDE Plasma, however I do use the CLI quiet a lot.
As shell I use Bash and wrote quiet some scripts and also have an extensive list of aliases. That’s quiet all about me.
