Hello! My name is Joseph; I started using Linux as my main OS about two months ago (As of 1/23/20), I came from Windows 10, I started out messing around with Linux Distros in Virtual Box. I had only used Debian based systems during that time. One day I forget how maybe youtube? I had learned about Arch and Manjaro, I then messed around with Manjaro and decided I liked Arch-based systems more than Debian based systems. I love the AUR as well. I then bought a Thinkpad T420, I decided to put Manjaro on there to try it out. I then started using that device as my daily drver, I mainly just watch Youtube/Netflix and go on Social Media, like Reddit and Twitter most of the time, I also sometimes play some video games, but recently I got bored of that. I then used that device for 2 months, but then that brings us to a more recent time, I bought a Thinkpad X220T I got the tablet variant instead of the normal model because I like to draw.
I got this like 2 weeks ago (As of 1/23/20). (Currently using it right now.) I originally installed Manjaro on here as well, but I was watching an old video by TuxDigital (It just randomly popped up in my recommended feed, even though it was 6 months old. It was called “This Week In Linux #75” from 7/22/19. It mentioned Endeavour OS and how it had its first stable release. I was curious about Endeavor, then I realized that this video was old, so it would be more stable, and I could probably put it on my laptop. Like I said before, my T420 is my main laptop, so I decided I should put it on my new one, the X220T, but I then forgot about doing it for like 2 weeks, so now I am here as of today. (being 1/23/20 I just installed it 6 hours ago, and everything has been running smoothly so far.)
