69 years old. From the US. Live in Cotacachi Ecuador midway between Cotacachi and Imbabura volcanoes. Mountain bike about 20 Km/day on Cotacachi. Started touching computers when I was 17, programming fortran on an IBM punch card machine first year of college. Currently run Manjaro came to that from many years on Ubuntu…left Uby for the changing corporate(among other things) influence on that OS…considering leaving Manjo because of changes I see there…started the nixes on my first home system, an AT&T workstation running Berkley Unix and a Motorola 68000 proc. Also an amateur radio operator but not currently active -want to be because of SDR, GnuRadio and want to learn programming FPGA’s. Planning possibly-hopefully- to Europe this coming (2021) spring to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela depending on a lot of things about the state of the world in the spring. Have not owned a Teevee in 50 years. Reader.
