I am an ooooooooooooold computer engineer : I wrote my very first programm in 1967 on a Packard Bell 250…

I worked on IBM (1620, 360, 370) , Univac, Siemens 301 : classical use of computing.

I joined TELIC (Now ALCATEL-Lucent) to develop the first computerized PABX based on 8080 chips…

Then always in the same compagny i joined the datacenter staff for managing mail system for the whole alcatel group .

I am now retired, but still active in computing mainly on Linux systems (Mandrake, Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, Suse)…

I am an amateur astronomer and amateur photograph.
Hence the use of Stellarium and Shotwell I mentioned in another post.

I am trying to be free from the GAFA, so I have my own cloud and mail adress on a PI 4 at home.

I also installed a mediacenter (KODI) on another PI 4
