And one other thing is coming to my mind:
Please change into a new empty directory before using mprime. E.g.:
mkdir /tmp/aaa
cd /tmp/aaa
mprime -t
The idea behind this is that mprime creates config files in the current working directory. If you execute mprime always in the same directoy (e.g. $HOME) you might suffer from wrong settings in old files.
