Not sure how AUR works, probably it will auto pickup an update from upstream (bitbucket)

Excellent! I gave it a go after removing Yamis from my system. All went well. A rather quick install.

I did notice that the Bitbucket link under “sources” and “Upstream URL” on the Yamis AUR page seems to give credit to a developer named Haidir. And the Bitbucket URL contains dirn-typo.

So the plasma-monochrome-icons still need to be manually updated? or both part of the same package?

Good question. In the PKGBUILD, for dependencies and optional dependencies, there is no mention of plasma-monochrome-icons.

Yes, it still needs to be updated manually since plasma-monochrome-icons is a separate project. There’s no AUR package for it either.

you will have the ability to have the system update it when you update your other packages. Keeps you from having to manually update the set.
