Hey everyone! I could use your opinion — I’m updating the pacseek icon.
Here’s a breakdown of the versions:
- pacseek 0 – The original icon, converted to SVG using Trace Bitmap. This is the one currently used in the icon set.
- pacseek 1 – A clean redraw of the original, aiming to match it as closely as possible.
- pacseek 2 – An enhanced version of pacseek 1, with added border cutouts for extra detail.
- pacseek 3 – A more minimal design: plain body, sharp tooth, and an eye cutout.
- pacseek 4 – Another minimal version, with a plain body and just an eye cutout (no tooth).
Which version do you think looks better and fits the icon set best? I’d appreciate any thoughts or suggestions!
Edit: Added pacseek 4 – a version without the tooth.

I like pacseek 1. But I would like it much more without teeth. Those teeth look horrible

Okay, here’s an updated version with a smaller tooth and a toothless variant.
I’ll test which one looks best with the icon set and make that the default. I’ll include the other two as alternates, so people can switch to them if they prefer.

I’ve been testing by switching between pacseek-1.svg (which is close to the original), pacseek-2.svg, and pacseek-4.svg. It’s honestly tough to choose — who knew picking a default icon could be such a dilemma? LOL.
For now, I’ve decided to go with the Toothless variant as the default (blame @cactux for the idea ). It just looks really clean on both light and dark themes, so it’s my personal pick.
That said, the other variants will still be included in the icon set — so you’ll be able to choose your favorite!
