Xrandr doesn't detect my internal laptop monitor

as a final question, from where should I knew that it’s the Monitor-eDP1 ? is there any where/any command that log or list this name in linux?

You were lucky after all

Even so, you should consider the rest of my previous post and move this file properly to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/optimus.conf. After some time you will/might forget about it. If you encounter any video driver issues, everybody will think there is no xorg.conf, if that dir is empty.
I say this, so I can tell you later: “told you so!” :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Also secure a backup of this file!!!

I think before I installed the nvidia, eDP1 was listed by xrandr, that’s why I wrote eDP0 in my xorg.conf (I didn’t copy/paste it), but it seems there is no other way to find it (at least I don’t know it :D), unfortunately linux is changing their decision all the time, one time they say Ok we put xorg.conf in /etc/X11, another time they decide to separate it to many files and put them into xorg.conf.d folder, and these changes is always making some problems for those who are sticking to the old methods.
and now maybe I have to put this file to xorg.conf.d folder as you suggest

Hard to find something when you hide it.
