Xorg running at 90%

Hi Ive just installed the latest from EndeavourOS_Artemis_nova_22_9.iso, and at the same time replaced my Nvidia card with a Radeon RX6500XT card, and a new monitor so I can 3840x2160 resolution.

I immediately restored all my configs from backup, and Im running XFCE with bspwm. Everything works great… except the performance is terrible now, Xorg seems to be running at 90%+ constantly.

Im not sure what info is relevant, but here’s some info:

You might have leftovers in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/, or driver blacklists somewhere?

hello @hobosong,

welcome to the purple universe :enos_flag: :enos:  :rocketa_purple: :purple_heart:

show the output of the following command.

grep -e WW -e EE /var/log/Xorg.0.log | eos-sendlog

please format your terminal output as code so it is more readable. push the code tag button </> in the forum editor, to format text.

Below is the output… but I think I might have solved it, after a re-install. Im think there is a problem with my previous picom.conf that doesn’t work well with this new video card. I put a default conf in place and Im getting much better performance and Xorg is back to like 1% while streaming youtube
