Xorg detects no screens in Live ISO

When you say you can get into a TTY do you mean on the live ISO. It’s not installed correct? Or is it installed and just booting to a black screen? Just want to make sure I’m understanding?

@weanoob
Does the grub command line have this kernel parameter on boot?

nvidia-drm.modeset=1

Yes, I can get into a TTY on the live ISO via Ctrl + Alt + F2.
nvidia-drm.modeset=1 is not present, and nvidia-drm appears to be blacklisted on the fallback mode if I’m reading the kernel options correctly.

I have the exact same issue with very similar hardware (AMD Ryzen + Nvidia 4000 series GPU).

In general EOS runs fine with this hardware but I was only able to install it by using my old GPU and then changing it with the new one after everything was installed.

Have you tried the new Live ISO “Cassini”? I tried it today and I’m able to boot into it with my Ryzen 9 7950X and GeForce RTX 4080. With the old Live ISO I had the same issue as you.
