Have you tried a forced logout with a key binding?
For me, this sometimes works, particularly in Cinnamon.
Window managers, not so much.

And for whatever reason, it seems REISUB doesn’t work for me — maybe I haven’t set it up correctly — so I’d also like to know what alternatives there are.

EDIT: Yep! Just checked, and it seems the REISUB file got removed somehow. Will test it the next time I update and reboot. :person_facepalming:

EDIT #2: It works. Let’s hope it works next time I get an actual freeze.
