I just downgraded the package and await for a fix.
downgrading did not work for me. so i had to find another workaroundâŚ

I suddenly started having problems with Filezilla. Donât normally use it (I use MC for that type of thing) but needed to set something up for a friend who is not very familiar with MC. Every time I made a remote connection, the screen lock would cut in.
Downgraded XFCE4 power-manager and the problem has stopped. Might have taken quite a bit of hunting to find if I hadnât seen your thread.
