Well, I guess I’m going to have to do without Orage. That’s a shame as both my wife and I really liked it and we have been using it for years on all of our OSes using the Xfce DE. The Clock option in the Xfce panel is a poor substitute but I guess it’ll have to do unless someone revives or creates a program similar to Orage.

Also, is there a Theme which looks similar to Numix-Frost-Light (or Numix-Frost)? That’s the theme we like best and it apparently has been discontinued. (We use Oxygen icons and fortunately they’re still here.)

I seem to recall reading something months back about Orage being dropped for 4.16.

Yes, the decision was announced with the Xfce 4.14 Roadmap:

https://wiki.xfce.org/releng/4.14/roadmap

App: orage
Status: Archived
Progress: 0%, Never

I too am getting orage missing when updating my system. I chose to do an off-line install of XFCE 2020.09.20.

The developers of orage stopped supporting it quite a while ago, so no updates. Over time the dependencies for orage have updated to the point where orage doesn’t work very well if at all when all it’s dependencies are up to date. In other words, orage has not been updated to work with new versions of it’s dependencies.

So orage is no longer installed by Calamares, either offline or online.

Having read all the previous comments I used yay -R orage to remove it from my system. I appreciate all the feedback.

Thanks
