X11 or wayland, which is better for gaming?

I would say thy are equally stable.
I use Intel(CPU) and Nvidia(GPU) BTW.

Next time I build a new PC I think I’m going with AMD(CPU and Nvidia(GPU) never I’m using a AMD GPU thy are crap for gaming!

Maby in the future if Intel(GPU) get good I will try them?!.

on wayland), it’s just that most games can only run on X so if you run them on wayland you’d be running them through xwayland anyways and usually lose a bit of performance in the process (We’re generally talking marginal though, like 1-3fps difference or something)

I don’t think u should reallyy be too worried about which is better for gaming, the right question to ask is which is better for you.

They’re equally stable, i’ve been on nothing but intel for decades and it was always fine, but then ryzen came and i finally got an amd powered laptop with a ryzen 6900hx, and it’s also completely fine, there was a tpm problem with it for like a good year though that lead to the system freezing up randomly for a few seconds (it also happened on windows though) but it’s been ‘fixed’ by removing support for a feature that was fundamentally broken.

It’s kinda funny, tpm does nothing of value and only causes problems, why do we even have this shit.
