I doubt it, buuuuut…
I assume it’s Microsoft Store only, right?
Then you can it and launch on Wine for sure (probably some time needed for Wine to catch up if it won’t launch from 1st day).
I’ve done that with couple of games before, it works
Basically the idea is always:
- Can you copy files to Wine (if installer / whatever store like M$ doesn’t work)?
- Can you bypass DRM (in case it doesn’t work as is, and Microsoft store surely won’t)?
If so - you’re good to go in 99% of times
Maybe I should look into a dual boot setup with Windows to be on the safe side (FS2020 is developed by MS after all)?
Well, that’s safest route if you really want it immediately, but in case you’re ok with solutions and some tinkering perhaps, maybe some wait time…I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to use it on Linux.
Oh, and also note that it’s highly unlikely that anything multiplayer related will work with bypassed DRM, so in case you need it - dual boot is only way…Unless it will be out on Steam / EPIC store or something like that which works on Linux / Wine!
P.S. Note, that i don’t encourage , you can buy the game and support devs that you like, as well as still use those to bypass dirty DRM solutions
