Wildy different user experiences while using Pacman for updates (Solved)

Hi, I have 2 builds of Endeavour OS, one installed fairly recently(couple of weeks ago) and the other one is pretty old (like a year ago). Both of them run the same version of pacman v 6.0.1-1. But while updating my system, both of them show wildly different UIs.

I like the experience in the first pic below (which is the newer install), but not sure how I can replicate it in the system in the second pic.

The first one has VerbosePkgLists enabled in /etc/pacman.conf
