How do I do that if there is no option to do so in the UEFI BIOS?
It looks like you are a few BIOS updates behind. This could be relevant or not, but certainly worth a shot if you are stuck. https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/tablets/miix-series/miix-310-10icr/80sg/downloads/ds112922
Do you get the same result if you bring the system up from a cold boot (as opposed to a reboot)?
Does it make any difference if it is plugged in or not?
I would continue trying other kernelsâmaybe give the mainline kernel a try.
sudo pacman -Syu linux-mainline linux-mainline-headers
linux-mainline doesnât seem to be an available package. Iâve installed Ubuntu (Unity) so I can check what various commands say, and while wifi works completely fine out of the box, the wifi hardware still is not detected. Weird. I think Iâll just stick to the Ubuntu Unity install from here. Bit of a shame, I really wanted to make this work, but I donât think it will be worth the effort. Thanks for the help everyone.
My bad, I am able to install these as a normal packages because I have the Chaotic-AUR repo added. Without this resource you would have to install from the AUR, so joekampradâs recommendation is correct.
It seems like you have drifted to another distro anyway so itâs a bit moot. No hard feelings, happy trails.
