WiFi forgets the password every time (booting, returning from sleep regime). Lxqt-Desktop

Nothing to add. I smoked all the google with requests: Lxqt/Lxde, wi-fi, password.
Freshly installed system. Offline install=> remove KDE => restore Desktop base + Common packages => instslled Lxqt-Desktop (Kwin windows manager). Every time I’m booting or waiking up the system, It asks wi-fi password
That’s it. Any Ideas what should I do?
Thank you in advice.

ran LXDE several months recently. those kinds of moves were always buried in .conf files,
peruse /home/config and look for lxqt session or lxqt settings etc. sound like something you have to set to =true or something like that. but google already told you that.

also the offline install may have resulted in a couple residual k-packages you need to drive a stake through. smells like it maybe. would be interesting to have some kind of sys monitor running when you do reboot or wake up.

where does ‘remember password’ in lxqt wireless settings exist?

Interesting 2018 convo about needing a network manager applet to control this. OP here had polar opposite problem of you. note what he/she says at the last sentence.

“So anyway to have wifi start automatically in LXQt desktop you have to install ‘networkmanager-applet’. But for me it will not save wifi password, that is a serious flaw… (And yes I have saved the wifi password in the configuration editor, multiple times.)”

I don’t know the answer to your question; am just spitballing edit-typo

Bless you, Kind Man, may your feet always be dry.))
