Why does my cursor change sizes in different places?

I’ve noticed my cursor will change sizes in some apps (pamac, gnome-clocks). I’m using 1.25x scale on KDE Plasma 6.1.5 - Wayland

I read this in a reddit comment,
“If you’re not using 1x scale then you’ll probably find it happens on Wayland when XWayland applications are used because of the way they handle scaling”.

Its been going on since the Gnome 47 came out. Seems like gtk4 apps are affected. KDE / Qt apps are not. Might be an issue in GTK itself. I don’t really know. Not the first time this issue has occured in the years that I have been using linux.

I discovered something new, unlike the first case. After setting the scale to 1x, there was no change on Pamac, but cursor still continued to grow on Gnome-clock.
