Why does it take for ever to turn on laptop?

I recently delved into Linux and opted for EndeavourOS. Everything is working as intended; however, when I close the lid of my laptop (ROG Zephyrus M16 3070ti), it takes forever to turn back on. It has reached a point where it is simply faster to shut down the computer and then turn it back on again. What can I do to address this issue?

Welcome to :enos: forums.

Can you run inxi -Fxxc0z | eos-sendlog in your terminal and paste the link here? So, we have a good idea about your physical system. We can give better suggestions and answers.

Far more helpful is systemd-analyze blame which will show you the things holding up the startup process.

I think the problem isn’t the time for booting the system, it’s about waking up after suspend.

Yes, I have no problems booting up, in fact, it is faster, it is just after closing the lid of my laptop.

Which desktop environment?

Sorry, I haven’t found any recent issues with gnome’s resume from suspend.
