Where do you get your Tech news from

Where do you get your Tech news from?

I’m just curious what sites you guys use for tech news?

I would like to create a compilation where I collect tech sites in German and English. Maybe we can get a nice compilation together.

Somehow you always have too much and never the important stuff

I am looking forward to your suggestions :enos_flag:

A lot of general news sites pick up in the main tech news now, but for specialist coverage I check Ars Technica and The Register most days. I also look at the aggregators Slashdot and LXer most days.

Mein Deutsch ist kaput, so I don’t look at any :de: sites - sorry.

I don’t follow tech news. For hardware stuff, I follow Gamers’ Nexus, Hardware Unboxed and Level1Techs.

For general tech news, I regularly check out these: ZDNET, TechCrunch, TechRadar, and CNET

Da ich kein Deutsch lese oder spreche, sind diese Websites alle auf Englisch. Es tut mir Leid.

I use the extension Feedbro Reader to aggregate RSS feeds from a few websites. Specifically I track LWN.net, phoronix.com, linuxtoday.com, hacker news and archlinux.org.

I simply use Akregator. LWMnet is new to me. Thank you! :enos:

Same. A simple app, does everything I need to aggregate the news I’m interested in.

My primary source. Comments are often more engaging than the news itself

Here at the Forum. Links to tech sites with new info are posted here everyday. That’s how I get my tech news.
Sometimes I go to Ars Technica on purpose.

In no particular order -

ArsTechnica
Slashdot
Phoronix (when I can remember to check it)

I used to follow a lot of tech tubers, but when I realized most of them are just trying to sell me crap I unsubbed. Especially anything Linus related after the incident.
