What's the name of my login manager and how to create environment variable for sway without breaking login manager?

Hi, I’m trying to figure out what my login manager is so I can more easily figure out how it works & how to configure it - I’ve been trying to create a new environment variable in pam_env.conf but it keeps breaking my login manager.
