Hey everyone, It’s been a while since I have used EOS. Trying to work out when we are likely to see a new installer with a more up to date kernel? That kernel has no idea what my GPU is. Not nagging or trying to rush anybody - just asking out of general interest to fire up EOS again at some point.

No idea when the next iso is coming, probably when it’s ready, but if you do an online install you will get the latest and greatest of everything.

OK thanks, is there a safe graphics mode? It’s been a while and I’ve swapped to AMD from Nvidia too. Even 6.14 freezes on my 9060XT - sometimes during install. That’s the only reason I’m interested tbh.

If you feel like to, you could try an Arch ISO. The latest comes with 6.16.8. Then you could convert it to EOS if you want. Or not.

If you do a online install you would get a fully updated system and the kernel would be at 6.16.10 .
