A new take on the Adamsâs, by Tim Burton. Whats not to like? I, at least, had a good time watching the first episode.
Itâs like some kind of Futurama satire on how future entertainment will look likeâŠBut itâs here. NOW!
Give it a chance, itâs really fun. Itâs bad chess and bad boxing, but the whole is much greater than the sum of its parts.
Itâs one of very few things where the cringe factor contributes to enjoyment
Itâs like watching the boxing version of the Bongcloud.
The level of chess displayed in that match above is slightly more sophisticated than âBongcloudâ. Itâs actually pretty decent, if you take into account that they are also punching each other in the face in between. Even the commentator made a mistake, when he said that Belenkaya should take that knight on f3. That would have been a blunder, but Belenkaya played the correct move, Ne5, which is not immediately obvious, especially after getting your face smashed just a few seconds ago. So credit where credit is due, she was pathetic as a boxer, but deserved to win. Sure, she also missed a mate in one, but okay, she got beaten up over that mistake, so allâs wellâŠ
Still, the absurdity of it is a major contributing factor to enjoyment, Iâm not contesting that.

Been watching 2 seasons of The Strain and I like it.
I watched this a while back, I liked it
i once saw this man play football in the old neckarstadion in stuttgart. believe me, he was from another world
Wow! That must have been quite an experience. I envy you!
You are right, he was one of a kind, just extraordinary. Otherworldly, as you say.
that was a wonderful experience.
Years later, Argentina came to the same stadium with Juan-Pablo Riquelme. Riquelme was a different go-to player, he gave the Argentine team so many opportunities to let the Germans run into empty space. unbelievable. But Maradona was everything in perfection
