Jools Holland Hootenanny
I thought that in space, no-one could hear you scream! Does that not apply to laptops??
I just wonder who had the brilliant idea to put a display on the back of the computer.
When you are using the computer you do not see it and when you are not using it then it just eats the battery (also probably because CPU is not in sleep mode).
Is it even considered dual screen setup or does it require some OEM drivers (most likely windows support only).
The laptop will launch in April, so a proper review isn’t available. The reviews that are there are on the production type, so I have no idea.
I do know that some Gaming laptops also have a customizable screen on the lid, so it isn’t something brand-new and there must be a market for such machines. Also, it does look like the screen is a simple black and white screen and not a full HD LED screen, so I think the power consumption isn’t that high.
On the existing Gaming laptops that do have that feature, I know you can switch it off. (And, I also think that that display only works with Asus software and not on Linux.)
Edit: It also can be used as a clock when closed, just saw it on a review. (Perhaps add a simple EOS logo on it… )
I would thought about a sticker for that purpose but OK.
Here is an example of unemployment-too much time on ones hands…
Kinda forgot season 2 started recently…
Wasn’t overly enthousiastic about season 1, but this second episode of Season 2 had me on the edge of my seat… can’t wait for episode 3 tomorrow
