What is your ISP speed?

 Download Mbps 933.59
 Upload Mbps 320.58

In a couple of weeks, when my contract updates it’ll be 900 900

I had 3200 both but downgraded due to cost. Anything close to 1 GB is plenty.

That’s very desirable but if I’m honest, I don’t really need 900 900, but the price difference from 500 500 is so small, I may as well go for it.

Mine is still virtually identical to my OP. I’m not disappointed at all, though I’d like it if my upload was higher. But, overall, I’m happy and have no issues.

Basically 5 devices so if I get anything above 450 out of the gig I’m happy, but on average I get about 960 mb. On upload I’d be content with 400 to 500.

Most of the ISP packages are pushing well above what I need for one person so I cancelled VirginMedia (a big ISP in the UK) and started tethering from my phone. This is a busy area for 5g though as there a loads of students around here, it goes up quite dramatically at times but you can’t rely on it doing so.

I don’t really upload to anywhere, don’t have any social media to speak of really and I don’t stream above 1080 anyway. I’m virtually afk as far as the internet is concerned

In three months, we will get a fiber optic connection in our house. For the transition, I have VDSL 100 on a copper wire :collision:

They just updated our internet over to fiber optic and now I have twice the speed I use to have

Spectrum (Charter Communications) 1 gig service, though it never quite gets there. Spectrum advertises as “fiber powered” or something like that. Actually it is hybrid fiber/coax. We do not have symmetrical download/upload here. We are in a small market. I have no idea if it is being worked on. Verizon FIOS just entered the market here. At the moment, I am on a promotional for one year, $40 per month and one mobile line for free, for the year.

Not much to write home about! Sorry folks back home :face_holding_back_tears:

About 3 weeks ago they connected a fiber to my abode.

I signed up for the 3 Gbps bandwidth, but all my equipment has only 1 Gbps ethernet .
But I could have multiple 1 Gbps devices connected and the devices can split the bandwidth.

Pudge

Change providers from Xfinity to AT&T, same plan of 1Gbps up and down and getting basically the same speeds as before…

EDIT: forgot to site that this is with multiple devices connected including streaming to TV and using a VPN.

Ping 27? Cumon bro, retstart yo PC and dont bug ower forum

I don’t understand. Please explain.

That is some high latency you have there.

59ms ping is high and 112 ms of jitter is brutal.
