What happened in the last 30 days?

I think that its enough good people got minimally interested in this O.S. at least this past six months. Some installed the EOS, some not, but at least this os is generating insterest in some way. Apart from that, there are loads of EOS videos in Youtube.

I agree with your second point, but how can you know that your first point is true, given your second point?

Yup I see as positive thing. Yes others have mentioned several times it is not reflection of true installs, but at least it is good “indication” of interest/engagement in media terminology.

I frequent other Arch distro forums to lurk and several mentioned Endeavour positively in the fact that it is literally is Arch with best parallel download installer and it is only one repo with optional themeing.

Reddit and YouTube channels there is attention too if you look at other Arch distros people comparing it. It is definitely gaining more popularity even if cannot actually quantify it.

It has Welcome screen and all the tools needed as if designed around providing support.

I see that there is possibility that it is new and gets lots of attention then suddenly people will get too over excited, install over their existing OS then comes the wave of bashing reviews (Already few like that on distrowatch). Perhaps the forum will get flooded with new users who simply will ask “How to fix” without providing information and what steps taken so far. But it is still good attention for future community support and contributions to maintain.

“EndeavourOS, the alternative to Manjaro that you didn’t know about until Distrowatch told you!”

I was aiming for the law of large numbers that if interest increases, more people are likely to install that particular distro.

That’s what I thought. There may be some connection between the two.

This is evidenced by my own example, although Antergos still existed at the time.

Why?

For example, if there are 10,000 more pageviews in a given time period, it’s certainly not just zero new installations.
