Chromium B.S.U.
That’s what i’m gonna play meanwhile!!!
Oh and btw obviously , downgraded and un-patched
coz that’s a joke:
Nobody should support such bs, in my opinion
Although original game is really great and almost nothing have changed, just f**k censorship!
F-zero on my JVC TM-H1950 Professional CRT Monitor.
Nothing beats real and thick scanlines
And a close up of mega man, I took a while ago too:
@Krimkerre F-Zero! That brings back so many memories. It was the game we used to play at Uni while drinking. So many fond memories of that one… I think I may fire up an emulator and play it again later. Just to see if I am as bad at it as I remember.
Some times I like to take a break from “go to the thing”, “shoot at the thing”, and “stab the thing” type games, and play a “puzzle game”. It allows me to sit back and relax. To that end, I have fired up one of my favorites, The Talos Principle. While not really innovative, in my mind, it is great fun and really works one’s problem solving skills.
Did I mention that I really like the reviews done by Zero Punctuation?
Got a free steam key of Fallout 76, and decided to play it for the first time ever.
Wasn’t ever going to buy it, because of all the bad news surrounding it, but now that I got it for free I had nothing to lose.
Had to do some tinkering to get it working, since a recent update apparently broke the game on Steam.
For those interested, instructions to get it working again are found here
While the game does work now, I’ve been seeing a lot of ‘aerial crucifictions’.
Don’t know if this is a result of that update that broke the game on Linux, or just a random bug in general.
No matter what the reason, this doesn’t give me a lot of confidence… Glad I didn’t pay for it
Afaik it went from unplayable, to just regular Bethesda buggy. Given this is online only, no community patches either. Last I heard, still tons of cheaters too.
Also Horse Armor but for literally everything because people “like” buying skins for 15 dollars a piece.
Just wait till M$ will make it even worse (i know people saying it’s hard, but i believe in Microsoft’s ability)
One of the lesser known LucasArts adventures. Plays better than I remembered. Great graphics and story. You might get stuck one or two of the puzzles, but overall they are logical and on the better side of the genre.
Works great in ScummVM.
Oh they will…
I won’t be surprised if future Bethesda games will only be available in the Windows Store on pc, so Linux users will be left out…
Apparently it’s just Bethesda buggy indeed.
After making it run on Proton 5.13.1 the crucifixions are gone, and only the ‘expected’ bugs pop up now and then
Actually no.
MS has a much higher quality standard AND hard anti-lootbox and in-store purchase policies.
The fact that the games probably won’t work in Linux is a different matter than to say they will be worse from a game perspective.
Higher standard i’m not sure…But M$ store exclusive would be huge killer
And yeah, anti-lootbox in itself is a very good thing!
I am probably going to buy an Xbox X by midsummer next year. It will be cheaper than to upgrade my graphics card on my PC…
First time I have gotten it to run with Steam/Proton. Needs some tweaking but runs
Aisle Riot Solitaire, what else?
Fullscreen doesn’t work?
$Mod F F11 don’t change it. Launching from right click bar icon gets me this far. I kind of like it
I think gaps plus rounded corners is involved.
Good game, have you played it before?
Well it looks less disturbing than running windowed games on Windows, and you get to watch your system stats while playing
Like I said my friend until proton .13 I never got it to launch using just steam and proton. This literally runs out of the box after forcing .13 in the options. This one was my unicorn. Played it on windows for a bit while it was new. Gave up on it because windows…now
Doom Eternal…
Lots, and lots of Doom Eternal.
Never have I felt so inclined to practice and strategize for a shooter
It’s mind-bending
