been lucky with mine, though I came to the party late and got a slim.
have to admit I’m itching to get a PS5

I’m gonna skip the next launch… at least for now…
Maybe later on, if they bring out a slim model, I’ll get back in the console market.
BTW how’s your elite experience going?
I discovered that I had about 2 million credits in assets so kitted out a cobra and did some trading, now about to try my hand at some mining.
Not really my cup of tea tbh… Way to grindy for my likings, and most missions are alike.
Glad I held off on buying a Hotas kit.
I’ll give it another shot when the next update arrives. Maybe some more variation will do the trick for me.
I’m having more fun with X4: Foundations, even though Elite is way more polished
No man’s sky seems to have improved a lot too since release!
have a friend that’s going to help me get some credits so I can avoid the initial grind
after that I plan to try a bit of everything and see how my it grabs me.
are you using Keyboard/Mouse controls?
I keep having a hard time remembering all the bindings
I’m using these… they work really well with an XBox controller or a PS4 controller:
I printed them out while I’m learning them.
Took me a while to find the correct folder on Linux to put the file in.
I’ll be giving it a go with a ps4 controller later on
thanks!
Restarted my game of Deadfire today. Been trying out different classes for ages, and I think I’ve finally settled on a Monk/Paladin multiclass.
Also got Xbox Games pass free for 3 months (yes, on Windows), and been salivating over all the games I get to play for free for the next 3 months
But still otherwise playing WoW, both on EnOS & Windows.
I have been playing Secret World, Rocksmith 2014, and Left 4 Dead 2 on steam and Rocket League on Epic all through linux
Diablo II LOD and Black Mesa
Anyone here who loves classic style RPG’s?
I somehow got a spare steam key for Pillars of Eternity Definitive Edition.
Giving it away for free if anyone wants it, on the condition you’ll actually play it of course
Hmm I got excited then thinking you were referring to Ken Follet’s Pillars of the Earth
I’ve just given it to a friend…
Asked in a few places if anyone wants it…
Surprised it took this long, before anyone claimed free loot
To be fair I hadn’t heard of Pillars of Eternity, despite liking RPGs. However, I DDG’d it and think that’s because that particular RPG really is a classic one and favours the birds eye/top down view. Which I personally am not a fan of. Makes the game feel less immersive in my opinion.
In the early 2000’s Baldur’s Gate and Divine Divinity where about the only thing my crappy pc could run…
Guess my love for the genre stems from there
Yeah I remember playing Baldur’s gate and Diablo as a little girl (they were my brother’s games) And as much as I enjoyed them then, I think I’ve became spoiled thanks to modern technology, so prefer RPGs with more of a 3D perspective nowadays.
Well Baldur’s Gate 3 is shaping up, seen here is a look at their character creation;

Runs pretty damn good on Linux, except 1st mission which is little choppy regardless of your hardware, as it was back on Windows…but that’s game, not Linux
