it means exactly what it says. You gotta do something manually to fix it. In this case you gotta manually download kio-gdrive because yay failed to fetch it on it’s own.

You may want to learn to read, write and edit aur PKGBUILDs to make it easier to resolve these kinds of issues.

  1. network error
  2. try a clean build

The kio-gdrive-git package is orphaned, and hasn’t been updated since October 2018. The upstream links also lead nowhere meaningful.

I’m not sure exactly what the application did, but I would suggest exploring an alternative, maintained solution.

The cava package currently needs an update. Otherwise, you could try cava-git if you don’t mind running a bleeding edge, and possibly buggy version.

i ended up getting cava to work by reinstalling endeavouros as for kio-drive-git its a google drive thing for dolphin and i havent been able to find anything like it

Have you tried yay kio-gdrive ? I found that one to be in the extra repository.

May you should try google-drive-ocamlfuse instead. Haven’t tried it and according to the comments there might be some inconvenient extra steps required to get it to work.
