What do you think is the best DE/WM for you?

Hyprland.

But Kresimir is making me consider maybe DWM is better for me.

In other words:

I mean, I’ve tried a bunch of shit, i had an ok time with openbox once, and i would like plasma if it wasn’t a crash happy piece of garbage, everything is great about it besides that tbh, but when it crashes, it crashes hard, and it crashes frequently. XFCE was ok, it was just super boring, everything worked and I hated it. Hyprland is just the latest environment i’ve tried, but I am really impressed by it, sure wayland sometimes gets in my way a bit on it, but otherwise I don’t think i’ve ever liked an environment more.

I switched to bspwm on Arch now! yay I guess

I started to appreciate Cinammon more due to its simplicity and windows-like aspect, while also being somewhat lightweight and easy to use. I enjoy the touchpad gestures (Probably the only DE that supports changing volume using the touchpad if the user sets it like that) and the file manager. Kinda wished Mint team added the under the hood tweaks like how Plasma does with VRR, HDR and whatnot.
Until then, I will keep using Plasma.
Gobble Gobble
PS: Is there a way to add touchpad gestures similarly to how Mint does with its DE?

KDE Plasma on Wayland has touchpad gestures, since 5.25, but not very customizable and some say the driver is “atrocious”.

Dunno about KDE 6 though
