Knowing exactly what he is riding through and on, I actually DID watch the whole thing. Somehow, in my current condition, I doubt I would have made it out of the driveway! However - I used to cross-country ski, and even snowshoe sometimes, not to mention Alpine skiing - and I know he is not lying about the lovely day!
On my daily running around I saw an EJ9 in the same red color as mine. The plate contained the number “1998” which could be the year the car was built or its initial registration. 23 years! The car was in perfect shape. I instantly got a little bit jeleous.
I regularly see an old couple in a 91 beige civic. Looks mint too! Also im very impressed they can get into it at their age. That generation is very, very low hahah! If you have a hole in the floor that’s roadrash on your butt!
This is my DIY electric BMX. Took me a long time to put all parts together and luckily I got lots of help. Very rewarding though.
Mid drive 500W 44T with a single gear 13T rear sprocket, 2.4" tires and a hydraulic disk brake system.
PS my first post. EOS user since about a month (before that, Manjaro, for over a year). Love it!

Welcome!
Welcome aboard!
This is much appreciated. Thanks!
The moderators seem very forthcoming here. Thank you for this!
I’m not really sure that’s accurate, I tried the Skoda website for Germany, and the Citygo-e iV is still very much available for order. Where does the info come from? I’d be surprised if it was discontinued, the Citygo-e iV, the Seat Mii and the Volkswagen e-Up are basically the same car, and the other two are still sold.
Hmm. Maybe they continued producing it in left-hand drive…
I looked on the UK Skoda site (no Citigo-e) and several motoring websites said it was discontinued.
In the Netherlands it’s the same, the Citigo is only available as occassion. It is going to be replaced with the ID1, but that’s in four years, the first model will be expected in 2023 by Volkswagen.
Thats what moderators are meant to be like! Welcome to EndeavourOS!
It’s barely been a year of electric mobility for me, and I’m already psyched for my next car - in electric land things move fast, and we’re very early in their technology cycle. The car batteries of today will hopefully be the basis of the smart grid of the future, with distributed energy storage and renewables collected decentrally.
I’m gonna look up this ID1.
In our country it’s the beer that causes all the damage.
I’m on my second VW GTI in a row. It’s pretty much the perfect car for me, balancing practicality and performance in a way that most other cars (in the US?) don’t seem to do. Before that was a BMW 325i. More VWs before that. I do appreciate a solid German car.
I do appreciate a solid German car.
Technically one out of your previous three. BMWzinga! ![]()
More seriously, I’m kind of looking towards a Skoda vRS next.
