Some footage of the Globemaster flying over the city, stupid camera kept going out of focus for most of what I caught, I wish I had good footage of the first flyover though because the shadow was massive and looked really awesome on the buildings.

I’ve remained wary of TV’s (any brand) with webcams and microphones, including mics in the TV remote. I go out of my way to ensure my TV has no webcam, no microphone, and I never used the supplied remote if it has a mic, instead replacing it with an aftermarket non-microphone version.

I also have it cabled into a physically isolated subnet, separate from my main network.

These sorts of devices are essentially remotely capable computers we can’t control. Most users don’t care, but it really should raise concern.

I’ve never liked the LG interface, so I don’t have one, thankfully. But I wouldn’t assume other brands aren’t doing similar things.
