I heard from the actors in interviews, veterans used episodes of DS9 to tell their family how it is returning, with PTSD, wounded, other psychological problems … . From the documentary, I gathered, that this show couldn’t be produced in the 2020s, or 2000s, because of politics; the 1990s were more laid back, more liberal, we’re sort of backwards, it seems.

This is once again showing that open source projects can always be compromised. Luckily the bitwarden folks have security measures in place so that the compromised npm package was identified and removed within 90 min. And luckily this was only affecting developers which used the brand new command line package bitwarden-cli/2026.4.0 which is not what we have in arch linux (extra/bitwarden-cli 2026.2.0-1)
This should be a warning for any open source software developer that the bad guys are out there and targeting open source projects.
The npm vector is an increasing problem for developers, dev-ops and sys admins.

A lot of npm modules suffer from dependency hell, where you might include one important module in any given project, and suddenly you’ve actually installed something like 1,000 modules, with any of them potentially containing a number of vulnerabilities, either identified or otherwise.
The @wordpress/scripts module for example, is one such module. It’s necessary for WordPress plugin developers. It’ll install close to 1,000 dependant node modules, and yes, one of those is axios 
In the case of BitWarden, it was the same sort of issue.

Chinese metro stations now have volunteers for foreigners to navigate, this is a Dutch who speaks Chinese and English, helping Chinese elderly and foreign tourists new to Shanghai.
The most complained issue for new arrivals is getting to the hotel, but with zero Chinese and under stress. Othr cities seem to address that, including Guangzhou, too.
