It took Neil Finn and Tom Campbell to both replace Lindsey Buckingham after Nicks fired him, in FM’s last couple years of touring.
I got you is great memories of youth now morphed into a Buckingham footnote :slight_smile: .

Furthermore, Frank Bango is fascinating. Vesecky dynamic is interesting too. At least this song reminds me of John Hiatt’s brilliant young career; at least the first 5 albums: stripped down, basic R&R and they are cut of the same cloth vocally.

I didn’t think the lyrics got too much darker but I see what you mean. Vesecky kind of twists things as he goes. Elton/Taupin-ish? Or am I reaching?

Mangled dark metaphors in full view, to me, are also wildly captured in this great, straight-ahead Zevon song. the title says it all.

Having a day at the office and remembered this chestnut, not sure if the two are related :smile:
