One of my favourite (if not even my most favourite) bands. In my opinion Tobias is by far the best contemorary songwriter. In my point of view it is legitimate to call him metal Beethoven, whom I consider to have been the classical metalhead.
Unluckily I couldn’t find a live video from “The Raven Child” which provides better sound quality.

Totally agree with you. Avantasia for male-fronted bands; Nightwish for female-fronted bands. Both are brilliant.

I agree. Tobias and Tuomas are in an own league compared to the rest when it’s up to songwriting.
Although I see Tobias (don’t want to start a war) with slight advantages. Nightwish equals that with slight vocal advantages.

This was my father’s favourite song. He recently passed away from COVID-19.
I miss him dearly.
