âCinnamon Dollâ parodies Neil Youngâs âCinnamon Girlâ (1969). The famous one-note guitar solo in the original works well with brass instruments. Nuttyâs musicianship is great.
âPleasant Valley Monkdayâ parodies Gerry Goffin and Carole Kingâs âPleasant Valley Sundayâ (Carole Kingâs excellent demo in 1966; The Monkeesâ hit recording in 1967).
