I think your missing a Much Bigger picture with A.I. the problem is not really the Companies trying to push it the problem is the Governments. The Governments are sold and heavily invested in A.I as the Future and they have a demand for the Corporations to produce it.
And abuse it for kill lists.

For those who are actively following the World Cup, I’ve just seen this TUI app written in GO.
Which is also available via the AUR golazo-bin or golazo. But also should work just fine with the install script, as documented on the github.
It is not exclusive to the World Cup, but should also provide live scores from the leagues.
Looks quite nice and should also provide goal notifications via libnotify as well as game statistics on ball possessions and such.

If we want to discuss the merits, or lack thereof, of A.I., someone can create a separate topic in the lounge.
How does A.I. Gate differ from OpenClaw or even the Firefox inbuilt multi AI chat agents?
- Never heard of OpenClaw, so I can’t tell you how/if it differs from A.I. Gate.
- A.I. Gate is a separate app, which I prefer. Not looking to open Firefox and set it up for A.I. use.
A.I. Gate is essentially just a single app that would allow access to different models at the same time.
In a nutshell, it might be pretty much identical in functionality to an browser based interference service, such as duck.ai, which offers private sessions, its a privacy focused service by duckduckgo.
OpenClaw on the other hand would alllow the integration of automated agentic workflows, such as n8n does with their gui based approach. It isn’t just a chat client, but would allow to automate specific tasks in a framework that could automate task such as automatic responses to customer requests in business use cases.
In short, if you only want to use a LLM in the classical language based chat and don’t require one of the sophisticated features (e.g. claude code / cowork or design) which would require a subscription, I would prefer to use Duck AI as a browser based web service, no need for a dedicated app. At least in my case. They do offer access to GPT5.4 mini & nano, Claude Haiku 4.5, Mistral small 4, GPT-OSS 120B as well as Gemma 4 in a beta currently. They also offer a subscription in certain regions of the world with an extended access to additional, more recent models.
In short, conversations via duck.ai are anonymized, they run the interference in a trusted execution environment. Therefore, the interference provider doesn’t have access to the prompts and your data couldn’t be used for AI training purposes.
I can’t really tell which policies A.I. Gate is providing via their application.

On my home server I’ve now used php-updater to upgrade to a higher php version several times.
It’s much more than just an updater, it also checks for problems or inconsistencies in config files.
The dev has created quite an extensive toolbox for nextloud admins:

With this toolbox, complex scripts can be created quickly because recurring tasks are consistently modularized. They only need to be listed as dependencies at the beginning of a script in the correct order.
The modules as well as the scripts are usually signed and hosted on my Nextcloud web server, which is the home of the scripts. From there, you can download signed versions that are always up-to-date and self-updating.
