Normally, you don’t have to wait two weeks; things are almost always released at the same time or with only a couple of days’ difference at most. There are exceptions like this one, but they’re not the usual case. Besides, two weeks earlier or later, it’s still “bleeding edge.”

Anyway, the term “bleeding edge” can be interpreted more strictly or more loosely, so not everyone will agree on what it really means, and I don’t think it matters that much either.
