Yes, I wrote most of it in fact 
and I’m about to add something to it becaues I have figured out what was causing the issue with asusctl.
It was because i had it installed from AUR (which happened because g14 repo had some key issues around 2 months ago)
And I have also discovered that this keyboard issue is my laptop working as intended (planned obsolescence) 
I think I’ll avoid buying asus again.
