Want To Know Why Aliens Are Always Depicted As Evil?

b

Europeans did a heck of a job when meeting the natives in Africa and the Americas… no reason to not assume that the same would happen to the people of Earth if the saucers were to ever land

Just finished watching Plur1bus where all aliens did was send a radio signal and human scientists did the job for them :alien:

Loved this show

Same. Fantastic thought experiment. I can’t wait for the next season.

They are not always depicted as evil, it’s just easier for writers to create conflict in popular media entertainment. “We made contact, we lived in peace” isn’t exactly a two hours movie, it requires better writing.

For example just this year we got Project Hail Mary, which was very well received. Another movie would be Contact.

If they would have finished the Ender's Game series, they would have discovered that the aliens there were not evil.

Do you think aliens are going to travel all that distance just to serve man?

Not allways.
Take for example “Starship Troopers”

But anyway, most humans films is a parody to humans themself. Like antropomorphic animals stuff.

But there is tho few nice movies about aliens.
BTW “Alien”, “Event Horizon”, what else, unironically X-Files has few nice moments. “The Thing”.

@UncleSpellbinder Or travel all that way just to insult us…

Haha… Vampire’s Kiss…

If you were traveling as an intergalactic incel, you’d be a bit bitchy, too.
