Wake up guys

Wake up guys, you are losing your rankings. Way too long between releases…

EndeavourOS is a rolling release distro

A new “release” means nothing to existing users, it’s just the installer.

  1. What “rankings”?
  2. Who cares?

A new release should be cut when changes need to be made to the ISO, not to manipulate “rankings”.

I did wake up at 6:15 am and drunk a cappucino.

I woke up at 7:45am, then grabbed a brush and put a little make-up.

The news has made me losing my sleep

I don’t feel like waking up!

As MECANO would say: ¡Hoy no me puedo levantar!

While I fully understand that the iso is meaningless to existing users. I too worry about EndeavourOS becoming less popular and fading away and losing my ability to run the distro. I’ve seen other distros with long times between iso releases and what appears like a lack movement in the distro lose their userbase and fade away. I’d like this distro to continue to grow and I hope we have a long future together.

I also had a new computer that would not install EndeavourOS due to the age of the kernel. I had to move the ssd to another machine, install EOS with a newer kernel, then move it back to the new computer with the newer kernel. It would install Arch fine but not EndeavourOS.

When you install EOS you really wake up! It is the Arch of my dreams.
