Volume keeps resetting in vlc and other applications

So I recently installed endeavouros on my computer and I have an issue where both vlc and elisa keep resetting to 100% volume when switching or looping songs.

I have the normal install with kde and the only thing I have added in terms of audio is easyeffects for eq and microphone noise reduction. I have also verified that this issue also happens without easyeffects running by disabling the autostart for it.

I have already tried looking for help elsewhere but I haven’t found pretty much any cases where someone else is having this same issue.

Thanks this works for vlc by switching the output module to alsa and restarting vlc. However I haven’t been able to find simlar options from other applications like elisa which makes me feel this issue could be still an issue with other apps but since vlc works fine I’ll mark this as solved.
