Video playback not working after system update

I had a system update recently and somehow anything relating to video playing did not work at all. From web browsers as chromium, chrome to video player as mpv, vlc, the frames are basically freezed while the audio kept playing. Are there any ways I should do to resolve this?

Some of solutions I had tried but to no avail

  • Switch kernel from linux to linux-lts
  • Reinstall pipewire (as from this site)
sudo pacman -S pipewire-pulse pipewire-alsa pipewire-jack wireplumber
  • Replace wireplumber with pipe-wire-media-session (as from this site)

Thank you all in advance!

Some info about my specs

Update: Somehow I reinstall pipewire-media-session and things gladly got back to normal again :slightly_smiling_face:
