debtap is a script found in AUR that converts .deb packages to Arch packages - then you can just install them with pacman -u. I 've tried it several times and it has never failed me
debtap has a couple of critical weaknesses.
- It fails quite frequently. The most common reason it fails is dependency issues but it can fail for other reasons as well.
- Packages installed with debtap never get updated.
Using a PKGBUILD is more or less universally a better solution.

oh had no idea - in the last 3-5 years I 've probably used it 20-30 times and it has never failed me. No 2 I know ofc that’s up to you - the user
