Using fdisk for a sd card

Hello folks,

i deleted/removed every partition of my sd card. Now i have problems to create a new working partition.

I tried already sudo fdisk /dev/sdd and m for help. But i can’t restore the working partition again. It won’t be shown again in the file manager thunar. Tried to create a new primary partition with “n” and “p”. And “n” and extended.

Can you see your partition(s) with sudo fdisk -l?

I found a solution. I used gparted for partitioning and it worked. But to answer your question: No i didn’t see my sd card or its partitions. Thank you.

You probably forgot to write the table in fdisk (with w). Glad you fixed it :slight_smile:
