Use i3lock on KDE instead of built in screen lock?

I have been playing around with i3lock and quite like it (setting a background and invoking it with a keystroke).

Is there a way to get i3lock to replace the built in screen lock for the KDE version of EndeavourOS?

You can set a background for KDE screen locker and lock your screen with Windows+L.

I suppose you have to disable KDE locking, from KDE System Settings.
Create a script with your i3lock command and settings and create/modify a KDE keyboard shortcut, to trigger it.
I have not tested/tried this myself, though. :person_shrugging:
