Updates broke microphone

I’m not sure if our issues are related, but after the most recent update, I have no sound at all. “No output or input devices found.” Video also doesn’t play or is extremely choppy (again, with no sound).

This is exactly what happened to me as well, on a KDE Plasma X11 session and with the audio config files in home /.config.

The solution for me was this:

Pipewire sound stopped working after latest update

I had some similar problems after updating today, with the addition of display freezes. I have configs for pipewire and wireplumber in ~/.config, but they were unchanged. I restored a pre-update btrfs snapshot, deleted the config files in ~/.config, did the update again and rebooted. Now everything works, also after copying the config files from /usr/share/pipewire and /usr/share/wireplumber to ~/.config/pipewire and ~/.config/wireplumber again.
